Resolving Mantis Tickets

The assignee is expected to create a QA task for the ticket that has been resolved in Mantis.

  1. Go to the task that you have completed.  This needs to be done before marking the status as “Resolved”.
  2. Click on CLONEThis image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is image-2.png
  3. Add “[QA]” in front of the Summary field. Assign To should be kept empty.This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is image-3-1024x595.png
  4. Set Relationship to “child of”. Click Submit Issue.This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is image-4.png
  5. After creating the QA task, please mark the parent task as “Resolved” so that QA will know that the ticket is ready for testing.
  6. QA will close the parent ticket once the issue has been tested.
