ChemoLIMS is mostly used by health clinics and hospitals in Malaysia. There is 220+ sites in total that are using ChemoLIMS. ChemoLIMS is used nationwide in most of the states in both Peninsular Malaysia and the Island of Borneo. Most of the sites (QMS sites) have used almost similar harware which are

- 2 Client PC
- 1 Network Laser Printer
- 1 Barcode Scanner
Installation Process
Site Survey
- The support team will go for site survey to discuss about the floor plan with the user.
- Before going to site survey, the engineer need to refer back to ‘ROP All v1 20160404’ document to review which instruments will be used in the clinics.
- After reviewing the floor plan and agreed by the user, the floor plan will be handed to QMS Project Manager.
- The floor plan is a must because it will serve as the layout on how the instruments will be connected with the server and will be used as the references during the instrument connection.

Installation
- All the instruments will be connected with the server according to the floor plan before.
- User training will be provided in order to make sure the end user will understand how to use ChemoLIMS.
- Test and commissioning will be held to ensure it meets the user requirements.
- Fill service report will be handed after the job is complete to the user.
Deliverables
Most of the hospitals and clinics have similarities in departments that are using laboratory devices for example:
- Biochemistry
- Hematology
- Urinalysis
- Immunology
There are 6 instruments that are connected with QMS (4 + 2) where 4 is the QMS instruments and 2 is the assets or the existing instruments from clients. There are 7 types of instruments that can be connected to QMS for example:
- Bio-Rad D-10 (Biochemistry)
- Beckman Coulter AU480 (Biochemistry)
- Roche c211 (Biochemistry)
- Sysmex XN1000 (Hemotology)
- Mindray BC30s (Hemotology)
- Siemens Clinitek (Urinalysis)
- Mission U500 (Urinalysis)
The server is connected by using TCP/IP or serial devices. The serial devices is used is if the cabling is less than 7 m. If the cabling is more than 7 m, we will used Moxa nPort. Moxa nPort will act as the converter for the serial devices to use the server in long distances.
